UCO TO GRADUATE MORE THAN 1,200 STUDENTS AT FALL COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES
The University of Central Oklahoma will celebrate the achievements of approximately 1,227 graduates during the Fall 2016 Commencement Ceremonies Dec. 16-17 in UCO’s Hamilton Field House.
Oklahoma State Superintendent Joy Hofmeister will address graduates at the 1 p.m. ceremony on Friday, Dec. 16. UCO President Don Betz will offer comments at each of the university’s four ceremonies.
Commencement ceremonies are scheduled as follows:
Graduates and guests attending the ceremonies are asked to arrive early as the field house traditionally fills to capacity.
Limited parking to the west of the field house will be reserved for those with disabilities. All campus parking spaces, except those in the reserved lot to the west of the field house, will be open during the commencement events for those attending ceremonies.
Guests attending ceremonies without tickets will only be admitted if space is available following the national anthem. Those without tickets may view the ceremonies on video monitors located in the south foyer of the field house as space permits.
The ceremonies may also be viewed online at www.uco.edu/graduation, with live streams beginning approximately 20 minutes before each ceremony. Those with smartphones will be able to view the live webcast of each ceremony on the commencement website.
