ACM@UCO BANDS TO PERFORM AT ‘H&8th NIGHT MARKET’
Student and alumni bands from the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma (ACM@UCO) will perform at this month’s “H&8th Night Market” from 7 – 11 p.m., July 26, located on Hudson Avenue between NW 7th and 8th streets.
Presented by Fowler Toyota of Norman, the “H&8th Night Market” is a monthly family and pet-friendly street festival built around a lineup of the city’s top gourmet food trucks. Events take place on the last Friday of each month through September and there is no cost to attend.
The ACM@UCO band lineup includes Moongiant at 7 p.m., Bowlsey at 8 p.m., Oklahoma Cloud Factory at 9 p.m., and Paperscissor at 10 p.m. Each band has a unique sound ranging from mellow folk-infused hip-hop (Bowlsey) to a fresh take on folk rock (Oklahoma Cloud Factory).
“This event is a great fit for the ACM@UCO. H&8th allows our student bands to engage with a community that looks for what is fresh and emerging in the OKC metro,” said Scott Booker, CEO of ACM@UCO.
Market attendees can feast on a variety of different foods offered by various local food and drink trucks including Big Truck Tacos, La Gumbo YaYa, Taste of Soul Chicken & Waffles, Urban Agrarian, Pizza23, and Heo’s Kitchen.
