UCO TO HOST FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK SALE, APRIL 12-14

Book lovers can find shelves full of deals at the University of Central Oklahoma’s Friends of the Library Book Sale, April 12-14, in the basement of Central’s Max Chambers Library.

Sponsored by the Chambers Library and Friends of the Library of UCO, the book sale will begin with a special pre-sale for Friends of the Library members from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 12, while the public is invited to shop from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 13 and from noon to 6 p.m. April 14.

Materials for sale include popular novels, non-fiction books, curriculum materials and DVDs. Hardback books are $2 and paperbacks are 50-cents. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Max Chambers Library and its collections.

“The annual Friends of the Library Book Sale is a wonderful opportunity to support the library collections and find something for your own collection,” said Lori Wylie, development manager of Central’s library.

Those who join the Friends of the Library on or before April 12 will gain first-day access to the book sale. Membership costs begin at $10.

The Friends of the Library of UCO is an organization dedicated to enriching the services of the Max Chambers Library to the university community. Anyone is welcome to join.

The library is located on the southeast corner of University Drive and Ayers in Edmond.
