LIBERAL ARTS HOSTS ANNUAL ‘PANERA BREAD NIGHT’ SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER

The University of Central Oklahoma’s College of Liberal Arts will host their annual scholarship fundraiser Panera Bread Night from 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 1 at the 15th and Bryant location in Edmond.            

Diners should mention UCO College of Liberal Arts while placing their order and 10-percent of any purchase, including gift cards and pre-orders, will benefit a leadership scholarship in the college.           

Participants also can register that evening to win a free baker’s dozen of bagels every month for one year. 

“We believe a college education is essential for students to succeed in the world today, but for many students financing their education can be a struggle,” said Lea Ann Chandler, development manager for Central’s College of Liberal Arts.           

“This event is a simple way to support our students as they work toward their dream of a college degree.  It also is a great opportunity for the campus and members of the community to come together and share a meal.  We encourage all students, faculty, staff and community members to join us in supporting our fundraising efforts for student scholarships.”
