Become Transformed!

Did you know?  Your degree from UCO shows you have received an educational transformation through solid instruction in the discipline, leadership opportunities, service learning opportunities, global and cultural competency, civic engagement and undergraduate research and creative activities. Research has also shown students successful in higher education tend to become more open-minded, cultured, rational, and consistent while becoming less authoritarian: traits that impact current and future generations (Rowley and Hurtado, 2002).

Additionally,  according to the U.S. Census Bureau, over the course of a lifetime, high school graduates earn an average of $1.2 million; associate's degree holders earn about $1.6 million; and bachelor's degree holders earn about $2.1 million. That is a difference of $900,000 between a high school degree and a college degree!
