The first general AASA meeting was today at 4:00pm, room 320C in the Nigh Center! Welcome new members!!! Next Wednesday is an exec meeting (if you're not an officer you're not required to attend), we alternate every Wednesday so next general meeting is Feburary 3rd-always at the same place, same time!

Member Dues: To be consider an ACTIVE CURRENT member, you have to pay $10 a semester or $15 the whole year to become a AASA member. That will include a t-shirt, admission to events, activities, and much more!

"AASA's Let It Rock!! Rock Band Tournament" is postponed until next semester, sorry for any inconveinces! On another note, AASA's Formal Thanksgiving Dinner coming up Saturday November 28, 2009 at Park Harvey Sushi Restaurant (check the events section for details)! Also our picture gallery is up, so go check out the pictures and see what we're all about!
Sushi Rolling Night is coming up on November 12th!! This is one of our most popular events and it's FREE to all students and non-students! Sushi Rolling Night will be dedicated to Positive Tomorrows, an Oklahoma based organization that helps homeless and low income children and their families by providing education and family support services. So invite your friends, come and learn how to make sushi, and have fun!

AASA's LET IT ROCK!! ROCK BAND TOURNAMENT is also coming up on November 18th! Come show off your Rock Band skills and win prizes!! The tournament will be conducted in a double elimination format. Winners are determined based on their overall performance percentages. Registration fees are reduced for early registers!! There will also be many side games, karaoke, food, and raffle tickets!

We are looking for a martial arts performance, so if you or if you know anyone that's interested please let us know asap!
AASA memberships fees were due today! ($15 whole year/$10 per semester)
OSU AASA's Ropes Course/Leadership Retreat fees ($20) were also due today, but you can still pay up until this Friday September 11!
Volunteers for the Asian Moon Festival will show up at 4:00pm to set up. Moon Festival t-shirts will be handed out to those who come early (Limited supply)! So be there early!!!
